With a mission to solve the problem of more than 2 billion people who need affordable eye care , Dr. Parveez Ubed in small converted kitchen space in Jorhat , Assam Started ERC . He is an ophthalmologist by training from Guwahati Medical College and completed his management Trainee from Stanford University GSB.

With Funding from The World's Bank Washington DC in 2015 , ERC started his first hub hospital in Sivasagar . During 2016-18 ERC raised a pre-series A round from a set of global impact investors and the model was scaled to cover entire North-East India .

ERC is world's first phygital eye care company , bringing tech driven eye care to the community .

Now ERC's plans is to cover the under serve makets accross South-East Asia and Africa in the near Term.
